Since 2016, we've brought together urban thinkers, researchers, designers, policymakers and storytellers from across the globe — voices as different as City Hall and the sidewalk, all drawn to the same complexity.
We ask the hard questions, dive deep where it matters, map the projects worth watching, and sit down with the people actually shaping cities — because no single lens can hold all of that.
An urban think lab by Anteverti
CitiesToBe was founded by Anteverti, a Barcelona-based consultancy that helps cities and organizations around the world navigate innovation, creativity, and sustainability to unlock new opportunities.
With a multidisciplinary team of experts — including sociologists, urbanists, economists, political scientists, engineers and communicators — Anteverti has worked hand in hand with cities in over 25 countries since its creation in 2011, from New York to Santiago de Chile, Seoul to Kigali, Madrid to Stockholm.
Anteverti also curates the Smart City Expo World Congress, the world's largest conference on urban innovation.
